Vintage Lace Finds From Pittsburgh Estate Sale

It's February already and I am thinking how time flies! I'm in Pittsburgh again celebrating my birthday with my triplet sisters. The first thing we did after flying into the city was go to an estate sale! It was the best sale as I found a ton of vintage laces. It will be fun sharing these with all of you.
I'm listing the laces in my Belledentelle shop. Hopefully I will have them all listed this week.

Tatted style ecru lace
Today was fun, photographing my newly found treasures and uploading the images to flickr. I used the photo editing program to manipulate color and light. This image turned out surprisingly sweet.
Vintage white eyelet lace
The box of lace contained mostly eyelet lace and the majority of it was ecru or cream color. I am considering staining some to make it a bit more prim.
There's a ton of this style lace. I measured more than 100 yards in various lengths from 6 yards to over 26 yards each. An awesome find! This lace will dye nicely.
There was also some very nice long lengths of insertion lace which I absolutely love! This lace is perfect for trimming vintage gift tags and altered art.
I hope you'll stop by my etsy store, Belle Dentelle, and check out all the new vintage lace listings. Maybe you'll find the perfect lace for your vintage art projects!
